Early preparation prevents illness and deaths from environmental health risks. Use the tools on this page to support patients and clients in preparing for potential risks and managing their health.

Summer hazards preparation

BCCDC has prepared brief interventions to assist clinicians prepare their patients for summer heat and wildfire smoke. The tools help clinicians identify those at highest risk, inform them of how to reduce the risks for heat and smoke, and provide them with key resources. 

Pathways is the best way to access these tools, as embedded links allow quick access to other clinical tools within Pathways as well as sharing of bundled resources with patients.
