Standard operating procedures have been developed with the following objectives in mind:
- Provide the Immunize BC Operations Centre (IBOC), health authorities and individual vaccination sites with high-level planning considerations for COVID-19 vaccines
- Provide health authorities and individual vaccination sites with specific information on vaccine-specific cold chain requirements
- Outline reporting expectations and critical data elements
- Promote productive communication between the IBCOC, health authorities, and individual vaccination sites

Primary sites: sites receiving vaccine directly from the manufacturer

Secondary sites: sites receiving vaccine moved in the custody of the province/health authority
