Thank you for your interest in working at the BC Centre for Disease Control.
BCCDC's main facility is located at 655 West 12th Avenue in Vancouver. This facility is state-of-the-art and was built in 1997. Services at the main facility are augmented by street nurse and outreach nurse services and offices in the inner city of Vancouver, by an ambulatory clinic for tuberculosis in New Westminster and by consultative clinics at various locations around the province.
Our mission is leadership in disease control through learning and action vision. We believe that there are no boundaries to what we can do to better the health of British Columbians. Therefore, each team member of BCCDC dedicates energy and expertise to the prevention, detection and cure of disease. We lead through innovation and action.
BCCDC provides its employees with the training and career development necessary to serve its clients, meet accreditation standards, remain current with scientific information and standards and respond to changing market forces.
BCCDC provides a healthy, safe and rewarding work environment, which fosters employee trust, growth and development.
